Meet Our Doctors

Jeffrey S. Brown, MD, FACS

Dr. BrownDr. Jeffrey S. Brown is a graduate of Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a combined residency at Boston University and Tufts University in 1991. Dr. Brown has been in practice with Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants since 1991, operating at Winchester Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Brown is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. He has a special interest in infections of the ear, nose and throat and in pediatrics. Dr. Brown served on the Winchester Hospital Continuing Education Committee from 1992 to 2014. He was Chief of ENT at Winchester Hospital for 10 years and is currently serving as Chief. He has been a member of the Infection Control Committees at Winchester Hospital and Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary for over 20 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology since 1999 and was President from 2015 to 2017. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He was a Delegate to the Mass Medical Society and was on the Board of Surgeons at the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary. He has taught third year Tufts medical students about diseases and treatment of the ear, nose and throat since 1991.

Dr. Brown enjoys spending his off-hours with his family, as well as cycling, gardening, skiing, playing the bass and dabbling in photography.


Thomas H. Costello, MD, FACS, FAAOA

Dr. CostelloDr. Thomas H. Costello graduated from Boston University’s combined Bachelor of Arts and Medical Degree Program in 1999. He completed a general surgery internship and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He has participated in a medical mission trip to the Philippines helping people without access to healthcare. He joined Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants in 2005. Dr. Costello is a clinical instructor at Harvard University School of Medicine and Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is active in Winchester Hospital Committees as well as in the HIghland Healthcare Independent Physician Association. He has special interests in sleep disorders and allergy. Dr. Costello is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
 


Andrew M. Doolittle, M.D.

Dr. DoolittleDr. Doolittle graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, before attending post-graduate classes through Boston University. He earned an HPSP Scholarship through the U.S. Army. He earned his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1999, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha (medical honor society), and completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in Otolaryngology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center before being assigned to Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg. he served as the Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Womack from 2006 to 2008, then practiced in North Carolina until joining ENT consultants. Dr. Doolittle has special expertise in managing diseases of the ear, nose and nasal passage sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity and pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. He is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and treats patients who suffer from sleep disorders such as sleep apnea. He also evaluates and offers treatment services for allergies. Patients of all ages are treated. Dr. Doolittle is also a board member of the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology.


Alysia S. Moon, AuD CCC-A

Dr. MoonAlysia Moon, AuD CCC-A practices clinical audiology and dispenses hearing aids. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and American Academy of Audiology, and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her professional interests include pediatric and geriatric hearing evaluations, inner ear balance testing, and hearing instrument evaluation and fitting. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology from Miami University, and her Master of Arts degree in audiology from Northwestern University. She completed her fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and has worked in hospitals, private practice, and clinical settings.
 
 
 
 


Rachael E. Zugel, MS, CCC-A

Dr. ZugelRachael E. Zugel, M.S., CCC-A, is a clinical audiologist who is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Valparaiso University and her Master of Science Degree in Audiology from Purdue University. Rachael is originally from Indiana where she worked as an audiologist at St. Elizabeth Medical Center before moving to Michigan to work at the Michigan Ear Institute. She relocated to Massachusetts and joined the staff at Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants in 2008. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Rachael’s professional interests include hearing evaluations, balance testing, and hearing aid evaluation and fitting.
 
 
 


Annemarie Czarnota, MS, CCC-A

Dr. annemarieAnnemarie Czarnota M.S., CCC-A is a Clinical Audiologist certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association, and licensed by the State of Massachusetts.She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and her Master of Science Degree at Northeastern University. Annemarie has worked in both hospital and private ENT practice settings in the past. Her professional interests include hearing evaluations, balance testing, universal newborn hearing screening, and hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Annemarie joined ENT Consultants in 2011 with 25 years of clinical experience.
 
 
 
 
 


Elizabeth McDonald, PA-C (Physician Assistant)

ElizabethKetterElizabeth McDonald is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She received both her Bachelor ‘s of Science Degree in Health Sciences, and her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies, at Springfield College. She is fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Beth has specialty training in Otolaryngology, emergency care, surgery, and pediatrics, and participates in continuing education at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has special interests in allergy, reflux and sinus disease. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, soccer/athletics, wood working, and home improvement.
 
 
 
 
 


Bethann Gulbay, LPN

Beth Gulbay
Beth Ann Gulbay, L.P.N., studied nursing at Castleton State College, then finished her studies and graduated nursing school at Vermont Technical College in Bennington Vermont in 2004. Her career has included a variety of nursing experiences such as geriatric, rehabilitation, working with developmentally disabled adults, wound nurse and in an outpatient health center with Massachusetts General Hospital. Beth is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) and has completed Advanced AAOA Courses in Allergy and Immunology She actively participates in continuing and furthering her knowledge and career in the allergy field. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, jogging and traveling.
